what if?

what if? Now here's a real goofy thought. What if Greenhill were talking with these U.S. equity firms to do a leveraged buyout on Ubs/lok behalf. Now that would definately resolve all issues. But naw way too crazy a thought. Or is it? Definately interesting times ahead with all kinds of possibilities. snowtrac Blackstone Group LP and Cerberus Capital Management LP, two U.S. private equity firms, are considering a bid for Canada's biggest phone company, the Globe and Mail said, citing unidentified people. The firms would form the third group planning a BCE bid, joining investors led by the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, and the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. Telus Corp., Canada's second-largest phone company, added C$1.78, or 2.8 percent, to C$64.50. Since BCE said this week that it's reviewing strategic alternatives, there has been speculation Telus might merge with BCE, or itself become a buyout target.
