Approximately 75 per cent of the diamonds are octahedral in form, 14 per cent of the recovered stones are fragments and 88 per cent are white. The dimensions in millimetres for the three largest diamonds recovered from the sample are: 0.77 by 0.77 by 0.40; 0.77 by 0.40 by 0.40 and 0.68 by 0.40 by 0.43. ------------------------------------------------------------------ SNO actually had some that are 3 times the size i a single dimention... we are talking MM where they are .212+ or tenths of millimiteres. In any case they are all small diamonds but SNO clearly has a very coarse distrbution curve.
