allenazzoleEngaging you in debate is truly a soul sucking exercise and you represent everything that the world reviles in the US. The saddest part of that is you represent a minority of the population but quite often the portion most reflected externally. I am from the same part of Canada that welcomed every plane it could on 9/11 to ensure no one else would get hurt. The same part of Canada that housed and fed those folks until it was safe to go home again. Many of those folks on the planes still come back and visit and all of them said thank you, too bad the same the same can't be said of Dubya.I am from the same part of Canada that collected every pillow/blanket/sheet/toy/food/bottled water and piece of clothing we could find to send to New Orleans while your government parks trailers in fields that are rotten now rather than help the homeless. I am from the same part of Canada that watches our soldiers come home in a box on a weekly basis from Afghanistan and I am from the same part of Canada that watches those brave forces in Iraq from the US, Britain and many other nations die on a daily basis fighting in a civil war started by a man that was looking for weapons that he made up in his own mind. I am from the same part of Canada that truly despairs when 32 people are killed while they sit in school and the same part of Canada that watched in horror as Amish children were forced to find out what terror is because "Guns don't kill people, people kill people".
I'm from Canada and I can walk in just about every part of the world and not have significant portions of the population hate me or want to harm me in any way. I truly wish that was the case for Americans but it simply isn't and I am certainly not jealous about any of that.
