Almaden Is the Flagship for This GroupIt always has been. Fairfield was another company run by the Poliquin's, it had the Siwash deposit (now the Elk) and was rolled into Almaden some years ago. My guess is that WCX will be someday, too.
As far as delisting, complete delisting occurs when you don't file your finacials and other required reports. That's extreme. There is another board that TSX moves you to when you are inactive for a certain period of time. I'm not a lawyer, that's just a general statement.
WCX isn't really inactive. All of their gold projects are in BC. I'm not familiar with those areas, is it possible that there is still several feet of snow to melt on the roads? Do they need to cross a stream or river to access any of these properties? I don't have those answers.
If you're expecting this stock to behave like GGL or some other new wonder of the world, you will probably be disappointed. Almaden's principals are not a promotional group. They're very systematic and rational. They start the exploration on a property, stake it, then perform enough work to get a joint venture partner interested. Then they let the exploration progress. They have up to 15 properties in Almaden right now. They've farmed out one of their gold properties to WCX.
Almaden is the flagship. That's the way it is. I'm not expecting that to change.
