RE: Hey whythe heck is this stock soAnyone know why? Only people that are in the know, please respond. Well I don't consider myself 'in the know' but I'll respond anyway (and I don't like see people talking to themselves...lol). To answer a couple of your q's... Everton closed a big financing back in late Feb 2007... 10MM units @$1.25 (plus each unit had a half-share purchase warrant attached at $1.65). In fact CEO Audet was on BNNtv a few days ago and said they have enough cash now to last them up to 2 years; so EVR looks good in that department. And he said McEwan still owns 11% of the co. The s/p has obviously been hurt on the 9-hole drill results that were released before the market opened y'day (Tue)... none of those 9 holes showed much gold. Big down-volume today so obviously some larger investors are running away. EVR is totally an exploration play and so they absolutely need to make a discovery here one of these days (hopefully in 2007) in order to make the s/p go significantly higher. Myself, I think they have a good number of prospects still in front of them both in Que and the DR. I'm hoping that this 2-day sell-off is overdone and so I picked up a few shares this afternoon. We'll see. Good luck to Everton and the shareholders.
