RE: SP rebound this week?

RE: SP rebound this week? Where it goes in one week is a pretty short time frame and can probably be best guessed by looking at current bid/ask volumes and price changes. I.E. It looks pretty weak. Longer term we are in the value stock category and we are looking to see where the bottom might be. There is little motivation for buying right now since drilling is minimal so there will be little in the way of production increases or discoveries to spur the stock price. I think we will likely have to wait until next winter when drilling at Bigfoot resumes and perhaps some emotion comes back into the oil and gas juniors. Our best hope for shorter term upside seems to be the gas price which is holding strong. Hurricane madness could strike once again and totally change the emotional climate. Unexpectedly high gas prices in the shoulder season might well change investor's appetites. It is interesting to note that the large cap stocks and mid size 'favourites' are at their highs while the small cap juniors continue to struggle and are trading near their lows. Should one take a deep breath and by the value plays or will one be best served staying with the CNQs and TLMs? Any opinions on this question are most welcome.
