New HereHey guys. I have been reading this board for awhile, but just registered in order to post. I live close to this mine site and have been there several times to look at it. I have seen some discussion as to whether or not the area is a sponge or not and how close it is to Wisconsin. Its its by and large high ground, rocky and wooded. The Menominee river is probably in the neighborhood of 800' wide and the mine area is across the street from the river, so I'd add at least another 200 feet. I know nothing about EPA regulations, so I don't know if those distances are meaningful or not.
