... today''s Globe & Mail ...... has an interesting two page editorial in the Report on Business Section on Page B4 and B5 talking about "how to make money (like serious money)" in the resource sector.
I know that Aquarius is not currently focused on the resource sector but what the article does talk about is the value of shell companies these days ... and Aquarius in my humble opinion is just that.
The story talks about Peak Gold ... V.PIK and how it was transformed from Imperial Plastech (which was bankrupt and delisted only a couple of years ago) into GPJ Ventures (the re-organized shell company) and then into Peak Gold.
In a period of less than 24 months, shareholders of Imperial Plastech ended up as shareholders in Peak Gold and saw there shares go from being worthless to worth about $0.80/share recently.
The article mentions that it's important to invite the right people on board early in the game, reorganize the shell and then put a good story into the company ... it also mentions that it helps if news letter writers are involved and interested in the story early in the game.
Anyways, I think V.AQC has ALL of the above ingredients working for it ... unfortunately, that doesn't guarantee a windfall for the few of us that hang out on these boards.
Spend a couple of bucks and buy today's Globe and Mail. It's a very interesting read.
