If anyone is concerned about the local real estate just go to https://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?searchtype=address&country=US&addtohistory=&searchtab=home&formtype=address&popflag=0&latitude=&longitude=&name=&phone=&level=&cat=&address=&city=swanson&state=mi&zipcode= When you get to this map switch to "aerial image" in the upper right corner of the map. Center the river in and zoom in as close as you like. You will see there are actually very few homes on the Michigan side and no homes that I am aware of within 5 miles worth over a Million dollars. Its a pretty remote area.
