RE: the shaft at kinnaThe Sprott report on UEX is excellent indeed.Besides the Shaft they also said that the kiana deposit is found above the unconformity,at the unconformity and below the unconformity in the basement rock.The deposit in the basement rock is very significant as it has no problem with water leaking into it(unlike cigar lake).I bet part of the reason for the shaft is to investigate the basement rock deposit and to mine it early.
