Beaver DamACADIAN GOLD INTERSECTS 35 METRES GRADING 1.19 G/T GOLD INCLUDING 20 METRES GRADING 1.80 G/T GOLD ON ITS OPEN PIT DRILLING PROGRAM AT BEAVER DAM, NOVA SCOTIA NEW BEAVER DAM RESOURCE ESTIMATE ANTICIPATED SHORTLY Halifax, Nova Scotia CANADA, June 05, 2007 /FSC/ - Acadian Gold Corporation (TSX - VX: ADA), ("Acadian Gold") announced the results of 11 drill holes today from its diamond drilling program testing the open pit potential of its 100% owned Beaver Dam Property in the Nova Scotia goldfields. One hundred thirteen of 133 holes drilled and assayed to date on the Main Zone have intersected wide zones of gold mineralization supporting the potential for a bulk tonnage - open pit gold deposit at Beaver Dam. Drill holes of particular note on the Main Zone include BD06-130 which intersected 34 metres of 9.94 g/t gold and to a large extent carried by a 1 metre intercept of 317 g/t gold, BD06-128 intercepted 5 metres of 19.32 g/t gold and BD2006-125 which intersected 10 metres of 2.22 g/t gold. Drill Hole BD2006-130 ended in mineralization due to abandonment of the hole in old mine workings.
