RE: PrivatizationI don't think a guy as rich as ID got that way by being nice to people...but...I still think he believes in iFire. My prediction is that after current WED management exhaust the list of potential investors and joint venture partners, ID and his buddies will step in with a substantial investment but not buy the whole company (maybe half?). That way they can avoid any perceived conflict of interest and be seen as supporting the company. If push came to shove I think they have close to enough cash to see iFire through to a point in time they will have determined whether the phosphor lifetime issue is resolvable with current technology/processes. But they won't wait until the end of their cash before strengthening the balance sheet. Chi PS. Did anyone see the picture/article in the Financial Post with ID rubbing elbows with Cuban officials. Maybe he'll coax Fidel into investing in WED?!
