GEOINFORMATICS ENTERS INTO AGREEMENT TO ACQUIRE A GOLD-COPPER PORPHYRY PROJECT IN ALASKA
Geoinformatics Exploration Inc. has been offered a gold-copper porphyry project (the Whistler project) for exploration in Alaska by Kennecott Exploration Company, a subsidiary of Rio Tinto PLC, one of the world's largest mining companies. The Whistler project encompasses a porphyry discovery made in 2004 which includes drill intercepts of:
219 metres grading 1.49 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 0.33 per cent copper;
290 metres grading 1.15 g/t gold and 0.23 per cent copper.
