RE: Or shall we discuss /gas

RE: Or shall we discuss /gasFullofgas... your retraction is acknowledged. Let me question a few of the other things you said in your post (#15003888): -you said you didn't like to see posters "pounding on Kirk, which I believe is unfair". My response to that is that debates and discussions are a 2-way street. For example you neglect to acknowledge that Kirk is the heaviest volume poster on this Pat bullboard, pounding away day after day on the current Pat BoD, slandering them mercilessly while at the same time he's calling anyone (including me) who dares to question his opinion "stooge", "idiot", "mutt" etc. Do you think that's fair??? Why can't Kirk tolerate other opinions? Why is he so angry? Why does he have so many Stockhouse "ignores"? -For the record I have no strong feelings either way re the current BoD. The primary thing that I expect from them is to increase my investment NAV and correct me if I'm wrong, but this has indeed been happening with Pat (so far). Heck, as of last October I MIGHT even have been agreeable with Kirk, but then he got onto this bullboard and began his merciless, indefensible pounding and name-calling which has turned me right off. In fact Kirk has turned me off so much that I now feel compelled to vote FOR the current management team; he's way too unstable to direct a public company. That's my own opinion. And unlike Gary Kirk himself, I won't be bullying other people telling them how they should vote. -You're right, I have never blamed Kirk for the falling PAT s/p that occurred during his reign. But neither am I afraid to acknowledge that the s/p fall actually did occur; one only has to look at last year's charts to verify this. Again it's a 2-way street... Kirk (and others) come on here and rail on and on about the current low s/p, and this during a time when the TSX Gold Index (XGD) is off 25% since February plus a retracted LOI (these same posters also railed on and on about $1.10 being way too cheap). So why do you and a few others rail on about how the current BoD is responsible for the current s/p, but yet Kirk is supposed to get (and got) a free pass if anyone dares to mention the same thing happened during his reign?? Does that seem fair to you?? -You talk about dilution. I don't think it's a problem here (not yet anyway). Pat's share count is still reasonable at or under 40MM. Meanwhile many small gold companies a long way from production have more than 100MM shares. A recent smallish producer in neighbouring Manitoba (San Gold) has more than 150MM shares outstanding. -You say your patience is near a limit. Hey, welcome to the small gold company shareholders club!! These things are wickedly volatile. I'm underwater too (although I do trade a few around my core holding). I mean no offence but if you find yourself getting frustrated about PAT then sell a few or all and just move on to something more stable, no sense having your investments affecting your well-being. -You're right, Pat does(did) need some cash. Ric has been slow to kick up production. All in all, I think the amounts and terms were pretty much in line. Jmo. It's a beautiful morning and I'm out of here. Cheers.
