RE: 3rd last out of 64I'm a Thai, actually an MD working in a provinical hospital. Whatever the Fraser Institute might or might not say, I would say that currently investing in Indonesia is safer than in Thailand. Personal safety is better there than here. Indonesia doesn't have a civil war going on like here in Thailand and all the political mish-mash with another possible coup and unrest in BKK with ongoing protests being organised by the consumately corrupt ex-PM isn't happening in Jakarta either. I think people have no idea what they are talking about with Indonesia. Moreover, if the SA team is so smart as all this suggests then they would not be in Indonesia if the true risks are really so high. They must know something the Fraser Institute doesn't know. My experience, however, has been that Canadians are usually very naive and quite ignorant of what really goes on here in SE Asia. Most are just tourists going to touristy places that are an exotic version of life back home. I am sure we all have our money in good hands with SA's people.
