New to the boardGlad to have got in before this takes off with a lot of news and drilling and results to come.
New Brunswick is a very mining safe friendly environment.
Slams properties are close to Mills, deep sea ports and road access.
Searching for minerals that are going a lot higher with the demand from China and the rest of the world pushing prices higher. Zinc, Copper, Silver, Lead, Gold.
The best thing is I talked to Mike today and this is what he told me.
Answered the question about the ramp that some on here were concerned about.
The story just gets better.
Should be a good ride.
Good luck to all.
Here is what Mike said in a nut shell,
The current program of drilling is in part designed
to test and potentially expand upon the high grade portion of the deposit in
preparation for ramp design. It may also determine whether a portion of the
deposit may be amenable to open pit. The resource estimate is in progress
and near completion, albeit, taking much longer than expected, this mainly
due to the amount of work we have in progress. As announced yesterday, this
work includes a very successful drilling program at our Nepisiguit zinc
deposit.
We expect to complete 10,000 metres of drilling at Nash Creek. At
Nepisiguit, we are currently prospecting and mapping in preparation for a
trenching program planned to start immediately. We expect to follow that
trenching program with another phase of drilling.
Currently SLAM staff is also reviewing previous work in preparation for
potential testing our other deposits including the Costigan, A'Hearn and
Strachens zinc deposits as well as the Lewis Brook silver deposit.
Sounds like lots on the go and I think the twenties are soon approaching.
