In Scotland there are no gold mines, but there is gold panning and Scottish gold is available from Scottish Jewellers, panned from Scottish burns. Very rare and expensive, Scottish gold trades way above the market price cas it's so rare! Then we have Irish gold which falls into the same category of scarcity and rarity, they won't need to export any gold that they mine ,it will probably all be bought by wealthy Irish and turned into a statue of George Best.
