AEN gets ready to case, test North Sea wellAntrim gets ready to case, test North Sea well 2007-06-19 17:05 ET - News Release Mr. Stephen Greer ANTRIM TO TEST FIRST CENTRAL CAUSEWAY WELL Antrim Energy Inc. has completed drilling on the Antrim-operated Central Causeway well (Antrim 65.5 per cent) in the U.K. North Sea. The 211/22a-6 well will be cased in preparation for a testing program expected to commence later this week. The well was drilled directionally as planned to 3,740 metres (12,260 ft), to test the Jurassic Brent sandstones in the Central Causeway fault compartment approximately four kilometres southwest of Antrim's 2006 East Causeway 211/23d-17z oil discovery which tested 14,500 barrels of oil per day (bopd) from the Brent Tarbert and Ness sandstones. As announced in Stockwatch on May 14, 2007, the 22a-6 well is the first of three Antrim-operated wells planned for the Causeway area in 2007. An additional non-operated well East Kerloch (block 211/22a NW, Antrim 21 per cent) is scheduled to start drilling in October, 2007, approximately 10 km northwest of the Causeway trend. The 22a-6 testing program is expected to take at least 14 days to complete. We seek Safe Harbor.
