Just da way I sees dat! HardRock --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- RPT Uranium Corp. Acquires More Ground in the Sibley Basin 6/20/2007 VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Jun 20, 2007 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX News Network) -- Dr. Hikmet Akin, President of RPT Uranium Corp. (TSX VENTURE:RPT), is pleased to announce that the company has acquired an additional 86 claims totalling 1,216 units (approximately 19,456 hectares or 48,000 acres) in the southern part of the Sibley basin northeast of Thunder Bay, Ontario. This brings RPT's total land position in the Sibley basin to approximately 80,700 hectares or 199,300 acres. The new claims tie on to the company's Wolfpup Lake property (see news release of June 18, 2007) and cover an area north and west of the new uranium discovery reported by Benton Resources Corp. and Grandcru Resources Corp. on May 24th and June 14th, 2007. Approximately 75 percent of the area consists of rugged and occasionally scenic terrain underlain by Archean basement with remnants of diabase sills; the remainder is covered with a relatively thin layer (a maximum of 150 metres) of Sibley sediments. The target model for uranium mineralization in the southern Sibley basin differs from that at Split Rapids, 50 kilometres to the north, where recent drilling by RPT has tested uranium-rich vein and fracture systems in Archean iron formation below the unconformity at the base of the Sibley sediments (see news release of April 2nd, 2007). In the southern part of the basin the basement rocks consist mainly of granite and metasedimentary gneisses. Uranium is expected to be found in fault and breccia zones in basement rocks below the unconformity. The Kiggavik uranium deposit in Nunavut (contained resource approximately 110 million pounds of U3O8) is an example of an unconformity uranium deposit in a granitic terrain below a Proterozoic sedimentary basin. Technical information in this news release has been reviewed by Colin Bowdidge, Ph.D., P.Geo., vice-president of exploration for the company and a Qualified Person as defined in National Instrument 43-101. ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD, Hikmet Akin, President ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Grandcru assays up to 1.01% U308 at South Sibley Grandcru Resources Corp (C:GR) Shares Issued 68,731,268 Last Close 6/13/2007 $0.25 Thursday June 14 2007 - News Release Mr. Brian Leeners reports GRANDCRU & BENTON DISCOVER NEW URANIUM-RICH ZONES WITHIN POTENTIAL IOCG ENVIRONMENT Grandcru Resources Corp. and joint venture partner Benton Resources Corp. have released additional assay results from new zones identified by prospecting on the South Sibley block, one of three blocks of claims that comprise the joint venture property in the Sibley basin. The initial eight assays previously released (see news in Stockwatch May 24, 2007) returned encouraging grades up to 0.21 per cent U308. Since then, new samples collected from a recent discovery of mineralized hematite breccia returned assays grading up to 1.01 per cent U308, 71 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, 0.20 per cent copper and 0.15 per cent lead. These samples also contain elevated values for molybdenum (up to 440 parts per million, background 12 parts per million), arsenic (up to 139 parts per million, background five parts per million) and rare earth elements cerium (up to 466 parts per million, background 60 parts per million) and lanthanum (up to 221 parts per million, background 12 parts per million). The coincident uranium-copper-silver mineralization hosted in a hematite breccia combined with the other enriched elements suggest a similar geochemical signature as noted in IOCG deposits around the world (Olympic dam in Australia, Salobo in Brazil). The samples cover an area measuring approximately 200 metres by 250 metres and are proximal to the Goodmorning Lake fault zone. Preliminary data from the recently completed airborne geophysical survey (Geotech Ltd., VTEM) suggest the mineralization is associated with conductive electromagnetic (EM) responses. Grandcru and Benton are pleased about the new discoveries and potential IOCG targets as they search for Athabasca-type uranium deposits under the Sibley sediments on the unconformity. The South Sibley property has excellent accessibility and lies only a few kilometres north of the Trans-Canada Highway. Prospecting is continuing and results from other highly radioactive zones are anticipated in the near future. A mechanical trenching program is currently being planned to follow up on other airborne EM responses. Clinton Barr, PGeo, vice-president exploration for Benton, is the qualified person responsible for this release.
