Caustic Fusion Results

Caustic Fusion ResultsGo back to the the SNO website and look up News Release (NR 06-31) - August 16, 2006, Microdiamond Results I recall that there was quite a discussion started about coloured diamonds. But more importantly, is that many of the diamonds found were fragments of larger stones. A total of 122Kg is not much of a sample but 44 diamonds were found including four macros. Certainly there was not enough of a sample from these few drill holes to make any kind of meaningful estimate of the carats/tonne. That's what the bulk sample is for. And if this 500 tonne sample looks good then the next step would likely be a larger bulk sample, maybe 5000 tonnes. At least SNO is going about this in the right way, not like Kennecott when they took the bulk sample of Kettle River's pipe in the early 1990's. BGT
