KWG more drilling this summer

KWG more drilling this summerKWG will also drill a target on some new ground in the Attawapiskat area that it acquired earlier this year. The company is buying a 31.28-per-cent interest in claims that surround the Uniform kimberlite, one of more than 20 kimberlites in the Attawapiskat cluster. The arrangement cost KWG just 897,400 of its then six-cent shares, putting a gross value of about $175,000 on the entire project. That seems a bargain for a project immediately north of Victor, where De Beers Canada Inc. expects to be mining diamonds in a year or two. KWG hopes to prove the point by spending about $300,000 on the Uniform Surround project this spring and summer, and that could allow the company to increase its share of the project further.
