"I need to listen to guys like you, Please don't stop sharing your knowledge of the market. Those Numbers! Wow only a matter of time now. In a few years, watch out! Number One baby!
By the way what percentage of your portfolio do you have invested in AUA? This great numbers stock!
Enjoy the day and all IMHO!"

VENMan, it's very gentlemanly of you to admit when you've made a mistake (in this case regarding your assessment/comparison of the two companies).
I guess you get REALLY enthusiastic about stocks. I guess there is nothing wrong with that as long as you keep it in check with a balanced view. I don't get married to my stocks. I just follow them carefully and I'm very patient; sometimes too much so, but not in this case.
Well AUA used to be a small holding of mine when I started to accumulate back in the 30 cent range. But now with price increases and heavy buying up to $1, it is quite a sizable position. But if it vanished, I'd get by just fine on my other stocks.
AUA had the best deposit and costs, but Thompson Creek had the best management. To be able to pull off that Endako deal was simply brilliant, no matter how they accomplished it. If any of the other moly companies did the same they would be sitting where TCM is now. I HIGHLY doubt TCM will be able to put their davidson project into production EVER, but if they do it will take MUCH longer than most think. Years longer.
Nevertheless, I guess it isn't bad to be holding AUA which is about to be permitted and built, with the risk gone all that's left to do is to calculate how much money they are going to make once in production in late 2008 or early 2009. Granted a financing debt/equity combination needs to be done, but with insanely high IRR well over 30% (Bankable feasibility study was done at $20 MO/lb as a high, not $35,) who wouldn't sign that check?
It's been nice bantering back and forth with you. I wish the best of luck to you and all MOL shareholders. I hope you all make a million!
Good luck to all,
x
