RE: mmreIt is important to note that all OTC stocks are not the same. NASDAQ is a listed exchange and thus makes certain requirements of the companies traded. The pink sheets or bulletin board is not a listing. Any stock that any broker wants to make a market in can trade on the BB, with or without a symbol. The main problem with disclosure is with the financials. TGLD does not have audited financials and thusdoes not qualify for an OTC of TSE listing. They have been promising to get this straightened out for months and have not delivered. Also, the Venture exchange and NASDAQ monitor the press releases and have certain requirements regarding news being desiminated. TGLD can say just about anything they want.
AGAIN, TGLD MAY BE GREAT. I AM NOT TRYING TO KNOCK THEM FOR THE PURPOSE OF GETTING ANYONE TO SELL AND BUY EXM. TARA IS JUST A GREAT EXAMPLE OF THE "RED FLAGS" I LOOK AT WHEN EVALUATING A JUNIOR. This was the purpose of my writing, to share my red flags. In the case of Tara it is not just one, but several red flags. I also wanted to point out the fact that many investors seem to lack any strict criteria when it comes to jr mining companies.
