Reasons to hold Tootsie Roll

Reasons to hold Tootsie RollSafe place to park some cash. The yield is around 1%, but there is also a 3% annual stock dividend. Great balance sheet, essentially no debt. Long term there is a substantial likelihood of acquistion by a major food/confectionary operation since the top 2 executives (husband and wife) are getting on in years and own a big piece of the company. Market cap is around 1.65 billion so it could easily be aquired with the major holders willingness to sell. A large operation could put an ad campaign in place that could kick start sales.
