Moines Danse? he tigars, raoul et jammerh!

Moines Danse? he tigars, raoul et jammerh!HE TIGARS ET RAOUL . . . Bienvenue! Je t'encourager a enjoiner nous! Nous onts bienheureux avoir votre presence. Je t'encourager parler en le langue englais s'il est comfortable apres un petit peu d'effort. . . . HI JAMMERH . . . Thank you for your intelligent response to my earlier post about "Moines Danse" which I could not understand. It seems you think I was criticizing people for speaking French on this board. Not so ! ! ! I love the French language and I enjoy francophones! French Canadians are a rich part of Canada's cultural heritage and there is a large population of expat Quebecois here in BC. I was welcoming them to speak, in fact! At the end of my message I was saying his/her observations probably have a valuable perspective if they are situated in Quebec, close to the action and French language News releases. I intended to say: . . . we English speakers would gain more from Tigar's or Raoul's observations if they made the effort to speak English occasionally. Most importantly, we appreciate it when they back up their musings and statements with quotes and facts. But, as you so aptly put it . . . just because we wish it so, we cannot make it so. If I cannot find the time to interpret, I can choose to 'ignore' and that is sad because they might have something very worthwhile to report. Bilingualism is one giant aspect of what makes Canada distinctive on the world stage. I am making the effort to be welcoming and curious with my fellow Canadians who speak French on this stage, in this message board. Unfortunately, we English Canadians do not have the same level of bilingual education that the Quebecois do. They learn English from kindergarten age (5+) whereas we Anglos learn French from junior high school age, (14+). 2 Years of French study is mandatory for Canadian Anglophones and after that it is an elective. Parents can opt to pay separately and enrol their children in French Immersion schools, and many do. Canada has an imbalanced language education system for a bilingual nation. That's a sad fact. In essence, a little help with the French language would go a long way because I am genuinely interested in what French-speaking posters may have to say. a bientot!
