Paranatinaga PROJECT
Weekend regards !!
----
The Paranatinaga area, located in central Mato Grosso province of Brazil, has been a historic and significant producer of gem quality alluvial diamond, but the kimberlite source(s) for the diamonds have never been discovered, despite comprehensive exploration efforts. Some diamondiferous kimberlite pipes have been located, but none have been of sufficient gem quality. Eitherway exposed Late Cretaceous sedimentary rocks which host the known kimberlite occurrences had already been heavily prospected and explored, thus the renewed exploration effort shifted mainly to locating new blind kimberlite occurrences under the post-mineralization Tertiary age sedimentary cover rock.

The Paranatinga Kimberlite Field lies on the northern edge of the Planalto do Mato Grosso, a large 600m to 800m high plateau that divides waters flowing north to the Amazon system from waters flowing south to the Pantanal. Except for river and stream valleys, topographic relief in the project area is flat to generally rolling. The Batovi River flows south and bisects the Property. Significant amounts of alluvial diamond have been recovered from this river immediately south of the Property. This company holdings in this region consists of approximately 201,800 hectares of nearly-contiguous land and encompass most of the noted NNW trending linear structures, presumed to control kimberlite occurrences in the Paranatinga-Batovi area.

.
Potentially promising "blind" kimberlite occurrences are covered by fairly thick sequence of Tertiary sands and laterites, requiring usage of advanced exploration tools.

Numerous reports of alluvial diamonds found in Batovi river area give additional weight to possibility of kimberlite-bearing diamonds being present in the vicinity.
