Investor relations again...

Investor relations again...Dear AUN board, I have been noticing, as I am sure have you, that there is a definite postive correlation between the quality of a stock's BB and the stock itself. Two of my most promising holdings, AUN and NOT, have great boards that are largely devoid of the stupidity that one finds on boards such as WWF, and other similar stocks. The posts on NOT and AUN are both productive and informative. My point here today is that, thanks largely to the input of the NOT BB, NOT has recognized the necessity and value of professional IR and is hiring a IR firm, Agoracom, which was introduced to them by a NOT poster. Obviously, it was not only the input of the BB posters that caused them to make decision, but I can say that we had a significant influence, partcularly by inudating them with emails requesting action in this regard. See the post copied below for more detaiuls about NOT is approaching this... Thus, if there is strong belief on this board that AUN could benefit from a much stronger IR operations, I believe, if we work together, we can certainly make them take notice and provide some constructive input. I know we did something similar a few month ago regarding analyst coverage, but despite several phone call attempts, I have been unablee to speak with Mr. Booth concerning progress on this front, or at least recognition of our concern. However, after speaking with Colin, I am doubtful he as the necessary professionalism to properly solict the attention of analysts. I think MR. Booth should be doing this, but I doubt he is. But like I said, I am only speculating because I have yet to speak to anybody... At any rate, it would be nice to hear your thoughts... Regards, B. "Hi Canseco, My last conversation was midweek, last week and the press release was being worked on for Escondida. What I have learned since is that the company is FINALLY going to hire a PR Firm. I've heard it will be the one makingmoneynow has been referring to (Agoracom) although that was not finalized last week during our conversation. Noront is a very, very decent company and the MAIN reason that they have not gone with any PR Firms recently is that they are truly against the "Pump and Dump" Firms. They worked with them in the past and have gotten burned in the above regard. Richard Nemis was inundated with emails over the last few weeks from shareholders asking for a PR firm (thanks to MMN for that as they took notice). My source said that Nemis was going to hire Agoracom BUT with some restrictions (ie NOT is only willing to sign on for a shorter period than is normal for these types of transactions). They want a 3 or 6 month short term contract. They want Agoracom to prove that they will be reliable and will "work for their money". I was VERY impressed with this. Lastly, my thoughts are that the Escondida press release was not released last week for two reasons: One, the market would not have properly digested any good news with the freefall we saw in all markets during the last part of the week. And, two (only my guess) they want Agoracom to release it. My honest thoughts are that we have hit bottom and will only go up from here. Even the directors at NOT were very surprised with the dip in shareprice as it was TOTALLY unwarranted. From what I've been told, Mr. Nemis is really skeptical of PR firms but with the recent drop in price, he is realizing that in order for a story to be "told properly" in the new millenium, a PR firm is almost a must. Let's face it, we did get a flurry of press releases over the last few weeks, but they are simply not telling the story the way it should be told. NOT has so many quality properties and seemingly NO ONE knows about them. With each release the price seemed to drop instead of escalate as it should have been. My opinion is that if Agoracom is hired, they will tremendously help our short term share price. Nothing has changed, just the fact that more people will know what we have here in NOT. Getting the word out is half the battle. I'm still hearing that Escondida is good news but obviously I do know any details. I have a feeling we will have a good week and an even better August!!!! oskee"
