RE: And now $1.10...

RE: And now $1.10...Pipe, Sorry for not replying... Have been a little busy lately. I doubt I can attend the AGM (when is it?)... I am in Toronto. Honestly, I think AUN should be opening a Toronto office, but that's another issue. I take your point about the seeming ineffectiveness of our previous efforts. I did not even receive a response... I dont't know if anyone did, but that concerns me because it is an indicator of an unwillingness to recognize shortcomings or potential problems. Not good... At any rate, we do not know, really, how much of impact our efforts had. Other posters have mentioned that they spoke to Colin and he was working the getting some analyst coverage, but personally I think Mr. Booth should be doing this. I do not like Colin, I do not think he is effective, and I do not think he comes across as professional. If is the face the investment community associates with AUN, then it is easy to see why have no progress. So my point is, maybe were effective in getting them to recognize this, but they so far they have failed. Anyway, I sort of think that your opinion about attending the AGM would not be as effective as continual, informed, and intelligent electronic or phone correspondence with AUN Management expressing concerns about, or at least inquiring about IR. I think many voices are better, and we have had success withis tactic with other companies (my NOT example, and maybe even AUN). Individually we are small fries, but when we all speak at the same time, we become a large voice. There was guy in the USA that sucsessfully organized shareholders into a very large voice that was able to influence Yahoo's Management... At any rate, I do believe that AUN needs a bit of a wake-up call and I am no longer willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I am going to be working on a letter (I will post it)that I will be sending, maybe by courier, to the attention of Mr. Booth. I am also going to start making regular phone calls to them until I can have a decent conversation with Mr. Booth. I want to guage his attitudes towrds IR and protecting shareholder value... This will determine how agressive an approach needs to be adopted. I urge everyone to exercise your rights as shareholders and express your concerns (if you have any). Time to stop giveing AUN the benefit of the doubt... Pipe, when is the AGM?? Regards, B.
