things that make me laugh

things that make me laughPeople who correct mistakes and get it wrong themselves -- yes you JohnE. "A slightly different way to view your delightful insight there mill" I think the "there" you wrote in your sentences should actually be "their". Further, the two sentences are improper - grammatically speaking. Hey, we ALL make errors in syntax, spelling et al, but while you're criticizing others be careful you don't err yourself. No, that is the correct usage of "there." Their is possessive, there is directional. Another thing is: people who insist "nothing has changed" when a company's stock price drops by half. Obviously something did change, otherwise you wouldn't see such a drop. In LBE's case, what changed is the price of nickel and the expectations for the company. The drop in the nickel price is obviously going to affect nickel producers. Profits won't be as high if they sell at $10 rather than $20. It has less effect on explorers like ISM because in that case people are betting on what the company will find, rather than what it will sell. Expectations for LBE undoubtedly changed as well. I don't think most investors were expecting LBE to be running the mill part time, as they announced will happen in the fall. And investors were probably expecting some results by now that would have boosted the reserve base. That hasn't happened. And I think those factors explain the drop quite reasonably. LBE now has to surpass expectations, whether it's on cash flow, profit, drilling results or whatever, for the price of the shares to start going up again.
