news

newsThis was a compilation of previously released results. There wasn't that much new info. In light of the background market conditions, I didn't expect any big reaction. SGR.v might benefit from some PR but that isn't what's holding the company back in my opinion. They are an existing producer. That means they have a higher standard than explorers who can report high grades and get a pop. SGR.v has yet to demonstrate that they can pull the gold out of the ground in sufficient quantities and grade to make a profit. Early expectations of big profits haven't materialized because the mill is running part time. It took months to get the first gold pour. Months with minimal news of progress. So after the initial disappointment with the results, the market requires proof of a successful operation. We need the second mine contributing ore and we need SGR to be at least cashflow positive before they can capitalize on the great ore grades they are reporting from depth. I don't buy that PR is holding us back. I don't want a splashy hype job. I want solid results. If we have the ore and the mill, let's show some cashflow! Bobwins
