Solvency issue?? Please tell me it ain''t so

Solvency issue?? Please tell me it ain''t soI looked at the most recent company report but found it quite confusing. What I read made it sound as if the actual underlying value may not necessarily be similar to the SP. At what point in the downward spiral do the shares become worthless? Is there a solvency concern? Is it correct that the company just holds the shares of various companies; that it produces no product, and does no exploration or other similar work? Since individual investors do not actually own the shares of any of the corporations held by the company, what assurance do shareholders have that their investment is protected? If the company has paid salaries and given shares or other other benefits to various company employees and officers, is investors' capital not being eroded. At what share price might shareholders investment become worthless?
