History repeats itself?

History repeats itself? How could anyone who suffered so much from the bursting of the tech bubble accumulate this much speculative paper in one market niche? One more shock like that of the past several weeks and this thing could go the way of the dodo bird. As other posters have pointed out, even a further moderate drop in the underlying value of the shares bought on margin could bring the end. And no, I'm not interested in buying at any price.
