Warrants

WarrantsWith the warrants so far out of the money, the price has fallen into the gutter. However this could be an opportunity - with 60 days left and a imploding economic landscape - gold/silver could go parabolic. This could turn around quickly, based on that most of the selling has been forced to drive down all PM stocks. So, my question is: If warrants provide companies with valuable working capital and it is in the interest of the company to have the warrants excercised, does the company have the option to extend the warrant date ? Is this often done ?
