RE: Stanley worth @ 1 Bbl Oil/share

RE: Stanley worth @ 1 Bbl Oil/shareThe logical conclusion to some would be for EOG to swallow AEI whole. This would be a very cheap way for them to extend their holdings. They could buy AEI and sell off the loose pieces that didn't interest them and still come out way ahead. They have the technical expertise and financial strength to exploit the Stanley field in the near term. AEI knows that an early miss would be a disaster for them. If EOG came calling and said they would buy them for .60, what could mgmt do? That said, I used to own EOG and they are proud of the fact that they don't grow by acquisition. They like to develop their own packages and grow by the drill bit. I doubt they would move on AEI, even though it makes total sense on paper. Bobwins
