domestic production

domestic productionCan't help but think a big part of their profitability problems would be rooted in domestic production. When they undertook the major expansion of local facilities a couple of years or so ago, I don't think they ever provided rationale for keeping production here. Without offsetting considerations, it would seem a no brainer to pursue cheaper options offshore. Perhaps with American military as a major customer, they needed to maintain certain standards that could only be achieved locally. Any thoughts? Anyone if all their subsidiaries also manufacture domestically? I like others still like this stock, but think it's going to be a long road back.
