You''ll like this. Important SRU related ?''sThis post is not for the naysayers. I do believe it is important, relevent and IMO, current. It is to you that have chosen Starfield as you investment opportunity or vehicle [as has a few large funds and Seymour Schulich] that I want to direct my questions and statements. Do you men and women that are shareholders really believe that Starfields Resources by themselves [as a stand alone company] will go the route and become a working mine? I don't and I don't believe that many of you do either. So what's up with the company? They 'reportedly' have not started the 2008 drilling program yet and if I recall AD indicated it would not happen until later in the year. They hit some nice stuff last year and AD said he wanted to 'prove the predictability' of the find. So why didn't they want to start drilling earlier in the year? They could start drilling now if they wanted to. The answer is, THEY DID NOT WANT TO [not couldn't]This then elicites another question. WHY NOT? [See below] A better question would be, what in fact is up with Starfield Resources? Where may they be in their development at THIS point in time? [note the word 'may'] I am sure that the 'silence is golden' rule is in effect. [The company is hardly concerned with the 'barbs of the bashers' Mega LOL.] IMO only, Starfield is trying to put together some sort of an arrangement that will in the near term benefit all shareholders. Folks, it is coming some day, why not fairly soon? It will NOT be a buyout because SRU is not yet ready for that. Several studies and more metallurgical work would have to be completed by now. In most cases, majors want juniors to do as much work as possible before they entertain the idea of taking over that junior. That does NOT mean that some biggies are not interested in Starfield and that they might not want to secure an official position with our company. Starfield comes to the table with the goods. Someone will downstream want those goods. That entitles SRU to have a 'sit down' with others [biggies]. Starfield comes to the table with the exclusive right to the metallurgical process that will enable them to make the little "gold bricks" so to speak. That process is the gavel [hammer] that will call the meeting to order. Starfield comes to the round table with the collective experience of many years of expertise in all phases of mining life. That will tell those others that they do not have all the aces in their hand and that they are not dealing with a bunch of Florida hillbillys. So what then are we looking at regarding your investment? We are looking at what Starfield has said all along. A day in which 'others' will be officially getting involved with the company. A day in which these others will take this play to another level. So what does that mean for you and I? It means that some type of business arrangement will come about. I believe relatively soon. Perhaps it will be a partnership or an 'equity participation' in which SRU will have to give up a % of the company. I do N O T know the proper terms of the instruments or products that are out there, nor various hybrids that are available, BUT I do know the signs of the times and not withstanding a world wide financial collapse, [which could IMO happen] SRU is at that point NOW. Sufficient work has been done for such a deal to be in the works. Another question would be, what will that translate into for us? I think we will get the answer to that question before the end of the year. I have a very rough idea but I have already given enough ammo in this post for the bashers to have a field day with. They can say whatever they want, IMO, we will see something nice in place this year. This is your choice to believe it or not folks, but I leave you with one more question. If you do not believe that a fresh opportunity is knocking at Starfield's door in the short term, why not bail out until you think the timing is better? Best wishes, Jerry Francis
