RE: China''''s Focus - Upgraders

RE: China''''s Focus - UpgradersI remember reading about this, the Chinese later downplayed their comments and said they were still interested in Canada. They also recently skipped on an apparent perfect fit for buying in on a company in Argentina (someone might remember the name), due to perceived political risks. The Chinese are far from stupid and excel in business(considering the last 2000 years), and while Chavez is wooing China to spite the USA, his self-minded objectives will become obvious, and no right-minded country will invest fortunes in Venezuela with the risk that currently exists there and with little hope now to convince anyone that any agreements will now be respected. Chavez, unfortunately, has done "it" to the country. I don't think the Chinese-Vzla relationship is much different than the USA-Vzla, as the only thing binding is the need for oil. Other than that we get the better quality goods from China. I am reassured that Genoil won't be investing in Venezuela any time soon, as nobody is crazy enough to invest there.
