RE: GREED--GREED---& MORE GREED!!!Hi Guys!
I do not fault anyone who has decided to sell. If you lose confidence in management, then you have to move on to another junior, IMO. I owned shares of NDM a few years ago, and was so disgusted with the management putting their own interests ahead of shareholders that I sold everything and never regretted it, even though NDM more than doubled thereafter.
I have held on with my IPT because I know the management team well and feel that they can deliver strong gains for many years off the base that has been built at Zacualpan and Zacatecas. The optics of the option repricing are not good, and I suspect more than a few investors were turned off by the move. But I also know they have acted within the rules of the Venture for options grants, and I feel that they have worked hard for the last few years with their own money on the line to get to where we are today, so I am willing to put up with the sweet deal they awarded themselves and just count on the expectation that I am going to double my money again on this one in the next year. There are a lot of sleazy operators on the Venture, but IPT management have done nothing wrong, have reported their transaction in the full light of day, and I still trust in them.
While I mention disclosure, I should also point out my own disclosure once again: IPT is a paid advertiser on my website. I would not hesitate to throw the company under the bus if I felt they had betrayed my confidence. In this case, I do not take exception to the repricing and remain a long term shareholder.
cheers!
