Belmont Resources Inc V.BEA

Alternate Symbol(s):  BELMF

Belmont Resources Inc. is a Canada-based company. The Company is engaged in operating a portfolio of highly prospective copper, gold, lithium, uranium and rare earths projects located in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Washington and Nevada States. Its holdings include Athelstan-Jackpot (A-J), Crackingstone Uranium, Come By Chance (CBC), Lone Star Copper-Gold, and Kibby Basin Lithium. The A-J is the Company’s two former gold mines. Athelstan gold mine area drilling indicates a peripheral alteration zone to a potential deep-seated copper-gold porphyry. The Crackingstone Uranium is a high-grade uranium property situated in the prolific Beaverlodge Uranium District of the Athabasca basin. The Project covers four kilometers of the Black Bay Shear Zone, a northeast trending magnetic low corridor which hosts four past producing mines. CBC offers a potential large copper-gold porphyry. The Kibby Basin Lithium project is located 60 kilometers north of the lithium-rich Clayton Valley Basin.

RE: 15.6% Uranium over 1.4 feet

RE: 15.6% Uranium over 1.4 feetThanks for clarifying. It's there, though I missed it the first and second times. I had to read very closely to catch it even now. My read is that the company is not drilling this year. Sounds like more walking the land. Did they over do line cutting for the geophysical surveys? If they're drilling, who is the contractor supplying the bits? Perhaps you have more knowledge, as I'm just going on their press releases. -- In 1950 the company sunk 10 trenches along the zone at intervals of about 15 feet. Channel samples were taken from the trenches. The best assays were obtained from trench # 2, 5 and 9. No samples were taken from trench #8 and #10. Trench #2 – 0.29% over 1.0 foot, 15.6% over 1.4 feet and 0.19% over 1.0 foot Trench #5 – 1.42% over 1.0 foot and 0.3% over 1.0 foot Trench #9 – 0.06% over 1.0 foot, 0.22% over 1.2 feet and 0.04% over 1.2 feet Later in 1950, the showing was tested by eight (8) x-ray diamond drill holes aggregating 528 feet (average - 66 feet/hole)In 1958 the showing was high graded by Mr. E. Kull, who drove a short adit from the base of the base of Trench #1 westward towards trench #2 and deepened trench # 9. The broken rock was hand cobbed and 11 tons were shipped to the Lorado mill grading 2.3% U3O8. The author collected 4 samples from this location 336913 to 336917 containing 0.28%, 0.40% 6.55% and 0.78% Uranium. --
