In Case Some Forgot .....WHY

In Case Some Forgot .....WHY Didn't this stock take off after the following news release? WHY WHY WHY didn't it fly like gcr, knp, ggl, and of course the latest flavor of the month NOT I just don't get it the results are very decent you couldn't ask for better location ie:road access to a mill close by go figure. GD. P/S I took the liberty to repost sage's NR of July 24th 2007 SAGE GOLD INC SAGE PULLS BEST NICKEL - COPPER DRILL HOLE TO DATE AT JACOBUS 7/24/2007 Toronto, ON July 24, 2007 FSC / Press Release SAGE PULLS BEST NICKEL - COPPER DRILL HOLE TO DATE AT JACOBUS 2.12% Ni and 1.02% Cu over 6.6 metres Toronto, Ontario CANADA, July 24, 2007 /FSC/ - Sage Gold Inc. (TSX - VX: SGX), has encountered additional high grade mineralization over significant widths at the Jacobus Nickel (Ni)-Copper (Cu) property in Beardmore, Ontario. The highlights are as follows: - Hole-11 - 2.12% Ni and 1.02% Cu over 6.6 metres (20.12 feet) within a broader zone of 0.90% Ni and 0.55% Cu over 21.4 metres (65.23 feet) - Hole-12 - 0.93% Ni and 0.62% Cu over 7.3 metres (22.25 feet) within a broader zone of 0.68% Ni and 0.52% Cu over 26.2 metres (79.86 feet) - Hole-13 - 0.91% Ni and 0.79% Cu over 10.3 metres (31.4 feet) within a broader zone of 0.61% Ni and 0.53% Cu over 20.6 metres (62.8 feet) - Hole -7 - was drilled as a vertical hole in the down dip section of the zone but did not intersect the mineralized gabbro as the hole deviated from the intended target. However, this hole intersected a pyritized carbonate rich section of chloritic tuff that yielded 15.15 grams of gold (Au)/ per tonne over 0.73 metres. This gold bearing horizon represents a new zone of mineralization that is not related to the Ni-Cu mineralization within the gabbro. Nigel Lees, President stated, "These drilling results are exciting. We have identified several high grade sections which occur within very broad sections of mineralization and hence would represent excellent mining widths. The mineralized zone which starts at the surface can be traced down dip for 580 metres. It is open laterally and at depth. Sage is constantly improving its understanding of the geology of the deposit to help better delineate the mineralized zone. To find a high grade gold-rich zone in the adjacent host volcanics proved a pleasant surprise which will be followed up in the next drilling program. The program was successful in confirming some of the historical results and also in extending the zone. Our drill program planned for the fall will test the lateral extent of the mineralization and trace the zone further down dip." Holes 11 through 14 were drilled in the up dip section of the zone in order to confirm certain historical drill holes. The results correlate with the historical results and suggest that there is a higher grade core to the zone which can be traced down dip. Hole 6 yielded 0.95% Ni and 1.16% Cu over 11.45 metres (Press Release - June 14/07) and likely represents the down dip extension of the higher grade core. Holes 1 through 5 and 14intersected lower grade mineralization in the up dip section of the zone. The results for these holes and a drill plan of all of the holes are reported on the Sage website www.sagegoldinc.com. Holes 8, 9 and 10 deviated outside the zone and did not intersect the intended target. The Jacobus Nickel-Copper (Ni-Cu) occurrence consists of a series of higher grade lenses that are aligned and form a mineralized zone within the Pinel Lake intrusion, a layered sill-like body composed predominantly of gabbro and quartz-rich leucocratic gabbro with minor pyroxenite and anorthositic gabbro. The zone varies in thickness from 6 to 25 metres and has been tested down dip from surface to about 580 metres. The zone extends for 115 metres in a lateral plane near surface and has not been fully tested in the down-dip section. The mineralization includes disseminated sulphides, massive and net-texture sulphides and most importantly, a distinctive inclusion-breccia sulphide with greater than 40% sulphide and containing angular and rounded fragments of anorthositic, gabbroic, pyroxenitic and volcanic material up to 20 cm in maximum dimension. The majority of the fragments appear to be locally derived from gabbroic wall rock. However, the presence of pyroxenitic fragments which are estimated to be 10% of the fragments in the inclusion-breccia mineralization suggest that at least some of the fragments were derived from an ultramafic part of the intrusion, or from a magma chamber in the lower crust. Based on previous studies and preliminary current work, the Ni-Cu deposit has a simple mineralogy of pyrrhotite, pentlandite and chalcopyrite, with minor magnetite and pyrite. Ore-metal ratios and geological relations for Jacobus show similarities to Xstrata's Montcalm deposit located outside of Timmins, Ontario. The Jacobus Ni - Cu exploration project is being supervised by Exploration Geoscience Associates of Orillia, under the direction of Ulrich Kretschmar, Ph.D, P.Geo (APGO #1160). Dr. Kretschmar has extensive experience exploring for Ni-Cu, gold and base metal deposits in Archean terrain, and is a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101. He is responsible for the technical content of this news release. Nigel Lees, will go "Beyond The Press Release" on the Company's official Investor Relations Site at www.agoracom.com/IR/sagegold ,in which the above metallurgical results will be discussed in detail. The recording is expected to be available on or after Tuesday July 24, 2007 Assays of the drill core samples were completed by ALS Chemex in Vancouver. Ore grade copper and nickel assays were determined by aqua-regia digestion and atomic absorption. The gold assay was calculated using fire assay and ICP finish. The drill intercepts reported in this press release are not true widths.
