Food for thought...Hi Surf! Thanks for the kind words. I don't know how you can stay all day working without any access to the 'net so you can follow a day like this...? Maybe once W-OFDM applicances come out, you could carry the 'net with you wherever you go...
Anyway, what I was going to say was I am dying to hear from Hatim (Dr. Z) soon... I'd like to think that his original target of $400 for Wi-Lan shares must be revised upwards by now... the qestion is, to what?
If I use QCOM as a guide... which is now worth $100 billion... in the middle of the highest use of 2nd generation cell phones, I can see Wi-lan in a couple of years at the same kind of valuations when the whole world will be in the middle of wireless-everything-everywhere... mode; plus maybe a good boost from 3rd Generation cell phones. It is scary to do the math, but what's $100 billion divided by 25 million shares?
Just food for thought.
P.S. What I suspect is that Wi-lan will be announcing "going to Nasdaq" by the middle of February, on a fast track, trying to get there before regulations change for getting Canadian companies listed on US Exchanges (For that matter, I also think Cell-loc might try to do the same, and over the next week or so, we might see a TSE listing followed by Nasdaq right after...)
Also, I heard, Wi-Lan may be doing another public offering at $50 U.S. (thus explaining todays $70 CAN price) at the time of their Nasdaq listing, followed by some dynamite news on the OFDM Alliance, and more contracts -- such as the Tele2 UK deal... Wow, wouldn't that be nice?
I can see the stock hitting $125 very soon.
Good Luck all.
