Gold chart verses ER chart

Why does the ER 1 year chart the reverse of the gold 1 year chart? Yes, ER has a lot going for it but I've seen snails and yes, many other gold exploration Co. with less move faster over a ten year period. Ten, ten, ten years! I'm growing very impatient when I see that the resource market is moving but not ER.
