RE: A 15,000bbl/d expansion to POD#1 in 3 mo?Boiler capacity may have to be increased. However, once the ground temperature of say 200 degrees is reached it will take next to nothing to maintain the optimum temp in the zone. Capacity will be avaiable for more SAGD wells...besides boiler systems are still cheap in comparison to a whole new facility. they will also need more oil storage or pipeline to move volume.
