Hmmm...I still think that this "moly" play is somewhat of a "bait-and-switch" situation.
Is the moly prospect prospective? Sure it is, but many plays are prospective. Often only 1 in a 100 prospective plays turns out to be anything that becomes commercial.
Should MTC go after this target. Of course.
But the question people are not asking enough is what happened to all the reasons MTC bought stock a year ago and 2 years ago.
They have been working on Big Lake for over 3 years.
How come we don't hear much about nickel drilling targets?
How come we haven't seen more concrete results from silver-zinc-copper play?
The drills MTC has on property could be used to advance these other prospects that were started way earlier. Why is that?
If they are taking a methodical approach to exploration then by definition it'll be years before advanced development of this moly prospect even assuming these initial results are encouraging. It follows the logic of its two other plays on the property. Look how long its been since the first encouraging discoveries.
Turn the clock back to 18 months ago. All about the nickel and silver-zinc-copper prospects (remember the stock popped to well over $1.00 on that silver-zinc-copper intersection).
Now its about moly and the new Hemlo lands?
I think I am expressing simple logic to be cautionary about how exciting things can be at MTC.
