One interesting issue with the low green back is that they are harming our domestic industries here in canada when our companies are paid in low valued US dollars and after the conversion, the companies here are destined to lose. Then what we see is an increase in our demands for cheap US goods which helps US to recover from the recession in the mail and sink our own industries in Canada, by our hands. Unless the interest rate is lowered in Canada, we have one choice and that is to diversify our buyers and markets overseas and lower our dependencies in south of the border. I have one other suggestion for our valued members here, invest in companies which are active in European stock markets. You can weather the swing specially if you invest in large cap stocks doing anything with green energy and oil ironically. As an example I can suggest SOLON in Germany and TOTAL of France, and Arise of Canada / Germany, I have done my homework. Good luck all.
