Tangible goods are good as far as I can figure. The down-side of the $ dropping doesn't mean the world will stop turning. It will have a negative impact, as witnessed, and as well, most probably, will be continued to be witnessed.
Regarding the demand for commodities going forward. Hate to say China and India...but that is important.
I see the 100 billion pounds of resources as value.
Your choice, the world stops with the dollar or it continues.
