RE: $''''s out of AB into Columbia

RE: $''''s out of AB into ColumbiaSome of you guys are missing the forest for the trees. If Alberta's new rules preclude O&G activity then there would be no industry anywhere in N. America because Alberta will still be a less expensive place to do business than Alaska, or the Gulf, or Wyoming, or Texas, or Oklahoma, etc.. As for Alberta running out of oil, how does an 85 year RLI for Suncor and similar numbers for CNQ, ECA, PCA, etc., etc., tarsands plays sound? As for Encana a previous poster had it right on when he pointed out that their decrease in CAPEX is due to soft NG prices. Show me one major NG driller or explorer who didn't decreased their CAPEX before the royalty review came out. Man up and call their bluff because they have nothing in their hand and they already know that they're folding. PS - Alberta is run by the farmers but it was Klein, not Stelmach, who started the trend because the urban professionals from Calgary and Edmonton all supported Betkowsky's leadership campaign. PPS - Oh yeah, go SOR!
