RE: stock price decline

RE: stock price declineTwo thoughts: 1. We won't know this for another week or two, but it's quite possible that the long standing "market supporter" Pattison has been "out of the market" since Sept. 21st, likely because of a black out period imposed due to inside knowledge of material facts. I have observed this before - most notably in the weeks leading up to the well known "special dividend" just over a year ago. The reason we won't know for a few weeks is that there is a 10 day lag between when an insider transaction happens and the date by which that must be publicly disclosed. So if, in another 2 weeks time, there has been no reported activity by Pattison during what is now the most recent week (plus part of this week), then we'll know that he's been out of the market. 2. As for the Cdn $ strength, keep in mind that SRF buys some of its input matierals from the USA (ie: Washington State apples), so this would be a partial offset to the impact on revenues from the stronger Cdn $. However, without knowing how much of their revenue comes from south of the border, and how much of their input materials and equipment they buy from the USA, it's hard to determine exactly what impact, if any, the currency appreciation will have on their bottom line.
