RE: Threats are dangerous.
RE: Threats are dangerous.Don't put words in my mouth. And please grow up and stop with your stupid insults. Perhaps I could in turn say you use 5 because it is your intellectual age?
I said to invest not run it. Just as here, where we invest but don't run the companies. We have a vote being a shareholder as we have a vote in elections.
Sector1, thanks for your thoughts. My one arguement has been that all these many past years the market has not built more refineries here in Alberta. So we can not stand by and keep relying on sending everything to the USA. The oil companies had their chance many many times to do so with their huge profits. They did not.
I am just suggesting another way.
Like all the small stores that provided more jobs and more local content were wiped out by Walmart. It was not that they did not make a profit it was just not big enough. Now we are left with recall after recall and products being built cheap with cheap labour in other countries. All this adds to our standard of living dropping drastically.
Lets build good jobs here. Keep the brains here. They will develop alternative energy and many more useful products. Thus keeping our standard of living.
