News Release - SUHi everyone, Suncor Energy reports oil sands production numbers for September 2007 10/4/2007 CALGARY, Oct. 4, 2007 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX News Network) -- Suncor Energy Inc. reported today that production at its oil sands facility during September averaged approximately 282,000 barrels per day (bpd). Year-to-date oil sands production at the end of September averaged approximately 230,000 bpd. Suncor is targeting average oil sands production of 255,000 to 265,000 bpd in 2007. On a monthly basis, Suncor reports production numbers from its oil sands operation in order to provide stakeholders with a more timely review of operational performance. These numbers are preliminary and subject to adjustment. Monthly totals may differ from year-to-date total due to rounding, the impact of sales and changes in inventory. Production volumes will be confirmed when Suncor's third quarter results are released on October 25, 2007.
